This concept seemingly made for Francophiles was launched in 2012 by yet another husband-and-wife team, Allison and Ivan Chavez. The two met at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business and had the idea to shine a spotlight on crepes. Sweet Paris, which grew sales by 14% last year, has been pushing into new markets in 2023, including Dallas/Fort Worth and Minneapolis-St. Paul.
